Policies

Payment Policy: Deposit equal to a one night stay including taxes/surcharges is due at the time of booking. Remaining balance is due at time of checkout. (Package bookings may require full pre-payment.)
Cancellation Policy: Please cancel by 3pm, 72 hours prior to arrival in order to avoid forfeiture of full deposit. (Package bookings may be subject to varying cancellation policies.)
Check In: 3 p.m. at Far View Lodge Registration Desk, open 24 hours.
Check Out: 10 a.m., Mountain Time Zone, Daylight Saving Time observed.

All rooms are non-smoking
Pet Policy: Pets are allowed in Standard rooms only. A $50.00 deposit (refundable pending no excessive cleaning or damage) and a fee of $10.00 per pet, per night is required. Pets are not allowed on trails or in archaeological sites, nor in public buildings.

Dining Overview

The Metate Room Restaurant
Colorful Native American artwork surrounds you as you enjoy a contemporary menu inspired by regional heritage foods and flavorings. The Ancestral Puebloans raised corn, beans, and squash, gathered nuts and herbs, and hunted wild game. Chef Max A Ellis presents delicious Southwestern cuisine celebrating their culture and incorporates these foods into his sustainable menus, together with contemporary favorites. Sommelier services and extensive wine list.

Enjoy a feast for the eyes as well, as you take in breathtaking views of Mesa Verde, the Four Corners states of New Mexico, Utah and Arizona beyond. The Metate Room is open mid-April to mid-October for breakfast [7:00 a.m. to 10:00am] and for dinner [5:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.]
