Shop Like an Ancient Puebloan

Discover another ancient tradition at Mesa Verde – shopping! It’s true: One of the largest cliff dwellings within the Mesa Verde National Park served as a marketplace for the Ancestral Puebloan people. We offer our guests many ways to enjoy this tradition!

Gift shops feature regional native American handcrafts – including traditional Navajo rugs, handmade flutes by David Nighteagle, authentic reproductions of Native American weaponry, katsina and kachina carved wodden dolls, woven baskets, pottery and drums. You’ll also find beautiful, handcrafted jewelry featuring silver and turquoise available from many Southwestern tribes.

Also green and eco-friendly, bio-degradeable, and recycled products including 100% recycled cotton clothing.

Our gift shops are also stocked with one-of-a-kind casual clothing, Mesa Verde souvenirs, posters, DVD's, CDs, and books – as well as film, disposable cameras, sunglasses and sunscreen. Local and southwestern gourmet snacks and hand-made fudge at Far View Terrace.

Gift shops are located at:
