Mesa Verde Policies & Information

Deposit equal to a one-night stay including taxes and/or surcharges is due at the time of booking. The remaining balance is due at check-in.

Cancellations/Changes made less than 24 hours prior to arrival will forfeit the deposit. Cancellation policies vary with promotional rates.

Campsite Cancellations

Please cancel/change your reservation by 4:00 pm, local time, 72 hours prior to arrival to avoid forfeiture of full deposit. Daylight Saving Time is observed in Colorado and in Mesa Verde National Park.

Dates of stay for a reservation may be changed based on current availability. Reservations are subject to a new rate for new dates of stay. Any changes made to reservations may result in a rate change and payment due upon arrival.

All room rates are based on double occupancy. Additional person charges apply for extra guests aged 12 years and older. Rollaway beds are not available.

Two pet maximum. A fee of $25.00 per pet is required. Pets are not allowed on park trails, in archaeological sites, public buildings, or Kiva Deluxe View rooms. Pets must be under physical control at all times and may not be left unattended in lodge rooms or vehicles. Housekeepers will not enter a room housing a pet or service animal. Responsible pet ownership includes proper disposal of pet waste.

All lodge rooms at Far View Lodge are non-smoking.
