Overview

Morefield Campground is more than just a place to pitch your tent. During the summer season, you can kick off your morning with an all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast at Knife Edge Café, located in Morefield’s full-service village. From here, explore Mesa Verde’s stunning hiking trails or hop on a guided bus tour of the park.

On-site amenities include a well-stocked grocery and camp store, a charming gift shop, and barbecue grills at each campsite for cooking under the stars. At day’s end, unwind beneath a sky full of stars and soak in the tranquility that makes Mesa Verde so special.

Single & Group Camping

Have your own RV or camping equipment? Then this is the place for you! Morefield Campground boasts nearly 267 campsites, along with all the facilities you've come to expect at a top-notch campground. Additionally, Morefield Campground offers a beautiful setting that is close to everything you’ll need for an enjoyable camping experience.

Camping options include:

RV Sites
15 full hook-up RV sites with water, electric, and sewer (reservations accepted and recommended)
Tent Sites
17 group sites each accommodating up to 25 guests in tents only (reservations appreciated)
Dry Tent/RV Sites
Nearly 267 dry tent/RV sites (reservations accepted, not required)
Campsite Includes
Campsites include fire pit and/or barbecue grill, picnic table with seating, and gravel tent pad.
Camping Supplies
Convenient access to firewood, food and camp supplies, and potable water near campsites.

Overnight Use Limits
At Morefield Campground, overnight camping is limited to no more than 14 consecutive nights and no more than 14 total nights in a calendar year, except for group campsites.
